Drawing information from a user’s passport, the new feature is marketed as an “easy, secure, and private” way to verify identity during domestic travel, with additional use cases promised soon. With iPhones holding about 58 percent of the U.S. smartphone market, the update reaches a user base large enough to alter everyday identification practices.
Digital IDs sit at the center of a broader global system built through what officials refer to as “public-private partnerships.” These alliances shape policies, set technical standards, and define the rules of planet-wide “digital governance.”

The nightmare descent of New York City under Mamdani rule has begun. Defunding the police, “free” services, and antisemitism are the tip of the spear. Staffing, policies, and mandates will issue from the mayor daily, implemented by an administration of hardcore socialists.
The outlook is far worse when measured in dollars and cents. Spending will soar from already unsustainable levels, even as the tax base exits. When the top 1% leave, along with major financial firms, they never return. The glory of New York will fade. The city will not even be able to sustainably pay its bills for basic services.

And then there’s extra Gaza war-related aid on top of that stemming back to 2024.

The BBC is reportedly prepared to issue a formal apology to US President Donald Trump in an effort to resolve the billion-dollar lawsuit that he filed earlier this week.
Trump has demanded the retraction of a documentary that contained a misleading edit of a speech he delivered prior to the 2021 Capitol Hill riot.
Trump accused the BBC of “reckless disregard for the truth” after a leaked internal BBC dossier, published by The Telegraph last week, revealed that the documentary show Panorama edited his speech to suggest he had incited the riot. The accusations forced both the director general and head of news to resign.

An alarming testimony before Canada’s House of Commons has blown open grave allegations that the Liberal government is ramping up pressure to euthanize military veterans under the nation’s rapidly expanding “assisted suicide” regime.
The explosive allegations were revealed in a parliamentary testimony from Kelsi Sheren, a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) veteran.
