Venezuela: Maduro Purging Military as Fears of Coup Grow

0

by Ben Kew, Breitbart:

Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro is purging high-ranking members of his military as fears within his government grow that they may lose of the institution vital to his power.

Talking to El Nacional, Hugo Chávez’s former Minister of Defense Raúl Salazar and the president of the NGO Control Citizen, Rocío San Miguel, said that Maduro’s recent purge of high-ranking military figures was a sign that he was nervous the military could soon turn on him.

Independent Journalist Exposes How Social Media Companies Are Systematically Silencing Conservative Voices

0

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:

Ben Swann has done it again. A new video that he just released about the stunning purge of conservative voices that we are now witnessing has already been viewed more than 24,000 times on YouTube alone. I have been writing about all of this censorship quite a bit recently as well, but up until now I have not revealed the true extent to which it has hit me personally. Like President Trump and other prominent conservatives, engagement on my personal Facebook profile has fallen dramatically. We are working like mad to keep engagement up on our official Facebook campaign page, but it has been a real battle, and today Facebook just banned me again from posting to groups for a few days. The funny thing is that I had barely shared anything recently. On Twitter, I have been told by a social media expert that my account has been “shadowbanned”, and that probably explains why engagement on Twitter is only a small fraction of what it once was. Of course dozens of other prominent conservatives are suffering the same kind of censorship, and it is absolutely imperative that we stand up against this unprecedented assault on our ability to communicate with one another.

LEAKED PHOTOS Show Trump Insider, Who Was Arrested for Child Porn, Partying With Bill Clinton

“It’s a Big Club and You Ain’t in It”! — George Carlin

by tftproject, Steemit:

Damning photos were recently leaked showing the behind the scenes nature of the political elite and the facade that is the two-party paradigm. The photos show Bill Clinton partying with a rather unscrupulous individual at an elite island resort in Punta Cana who is tied to both the Clintons, President Donald Trump—and pedophilia.

As the political blowhards attempt to claim there is a difference between the left and the right, the truth is far different. While they may act like they hate each other in public, behind closed doors, the majority of politicians rub elbows and agree on what really matters to them, pleasing their corporate masters and expanding the empire.

The man in the photograph below proves this notion as he was a regular visitor to the White House and former associate of White House adviser and presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner. His name is George Nader.

Get Ready for JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs to Get Yanked from the Dow

by Pam Martens and Russ Martens, Wall St On Parade:

Yesterday, Wall Street mega bank, JPMorgan Chase, was the biggest percentage decliner in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, losing 2.79 percent. Goldman Sachs, another Dow stock, was third in line after Caterpillar, losing 2.56 percent. But that performance was absolutely mild compared to how other global bank stocks that aren’t in the Dow performed.

Morgan Stanley lost 3.55 percent; Citigroup shed 3.30 percent; while Deutsche Bank, a German bank heavily interconnected with Wall Street banks, that trades on the New York Stock Exchange, touched $13.34 intraday – its lowest share price in more than 30 years. Deutsche Bank closed the day at $13.40, down 3.67 percent. A U.S. unit of Deutsche Bank, which is designated a global systemically important bank (G-SIB), recently failed its stress test according to the Federal Reserve.

A Member Of Congress Explains Why The Corruption In Congress Is Much Worse Than You Think

0

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:

What would you say if I told you that committee chairs were for sale in Congress?  And what would you say if I told you that many members of Congress spend far more time on the telephone raising money than on the jobs that the people of their states actually elected them to do?  There is a reason why so many Americans absolutely hate Congress.  At this moment, Congress has an approval rating of just 15 percent, and approval ratings for Congress have been at extremely low levels for a very long time.  We all know that Congress has become completely corrupt, that it is completely unresponsive to the American people and that it has become all about the money.  Many have asked why I would want to become part of such a corrupt institution, and I respond by saying that it is time to take our government back.

In the very close race that I am currently involved in, there is an exceedingly clear choice between politics as usual and someone that is committed to going to Washington and turning the system completely upside down.

I believe that we need to send people to Washington that will be willing to stand up to the leadership of both parties.  Below, I am going to share some things that a current member of Congress is saying about the corruption in D.C. that will blow your mind.  Many would suggest that the corruption is so pervasive that it is useless to try to do anything about it.  But I say that if “we the people” can get Donald Trump into the White House, then “we the people” can also take Congress back.

To get a feel for how passionate I am about this, please watch the short speeches that I made to the Latah County Republicans and the Nez Perce County Republicans over the weekend.  The response to both talks was incredibly positive, and we are winning over more voters with each passing day.

We have just launched our final money bomb of the 2018 primary campaign, and we are trying to raise $35,000 so that we can fully implement our entire plan for pulling ahead in this very tight race over the last 60 days.  If you would like to make a contribution, here are several ways that you can do so…

U.S. Representative Ken Buck was elected to Congress in 2014, and he recently authored a book that is shaking Washington to the core.  The following is what USA Today had to say about it…

And the second-term Republican is unlikely to make many more with Tuesday’s publication of his tell-all book, Drain the Swamp: How Washington is Worse Than You Think, co-authored with Bill Blankschaen.

In it, Buck says lawmakers are mostly “fat and happy alligators who feel pretty darn comfortable in the swamp.” He casts Republican leaders as “playground bullies” who go to great lengths, including yanking subcommittee chairmanships and canceling lawmakers’ overseas trips, to punish dissenters. And he decries a “pay-to-play” system in which plum committee assignments and leadership slots are tied to lawmakers’ fundraising skills instead of their policy expertise.

One of the things that Buck has revealed that upset me the most is the fact that committee chairs are essentially for sale in Washington.  Here is a brief excerpt from Buck’s book

Here’s how it works for Republicans. If you want to serve on a committee, you have to raise money for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). The amount varies depending on the committee and role. For example, to serve on a B or C level committee, a GOP House freshman member must raise $220,000 every two years … Veteran members on A committees must raise more than twice that amount  $450,000 … If you become the chair of a B committee – congratulations – you’re now expected to raise $875,000 a year for the NRCC. Chairing an A committee means you must raise $1.2 million.

In order to raise such large amounts of money, members of Congress are expected to spend approximately four hours a day on the telephone raising money.  This is something that I wrote an extended article about last week.

Big Pharma Paid Millions in Secret Settlements After Antidepressants Linked Mass Murder

by Rachel Blevins, The Free Thought Project:

Major pharmaceutical companies have spent hundreds of millions of dollars covering up lawsuits over suicides and mass murders caused by popular antidepressants.

Every time there are reports of a mass shooting, there are a number of people who automatically question whether the suspect had mental health issues or was taking prescription medications such as antidepressants.

While history has shown that the most notorious mass shooters in this century were taking antidepressants or Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) before they carried out the deadly rampages, there are a number of killings that have been linked directly to the dangerous drugs. In fact, the pharmaceutical companies behind the most popular SSRI’s have paid hundreds of millions of dollars in damages:

Eli Lilly Paid Secret Settlements to Survivors After Man on Prozac Went on Shooting Rampage in 1989

Joseph T. Wesbecker, 47, carried out a mass shooting in which he shot 20 workers at Standard Gravure Corp. in Kentucky, in September 1989. Eight of the victims were fatally wounded, and Wesbecker ended the rampage by shooting and killing himself.

Just one month earlier, Wesbecker had started taking the antidepressant Prozac, which included side effects such as “obsession with suicide and dangerously violent behavior,” according to an article in the American Journal of Psychiatry.

When the survivors of the shooting filed a lawsuit against Eli Lilly arguing that it had known about the propensity of Prozac to cause violent outbursts and suicidal tendencies, the company convinced the victims to agree to secret settlements outside of court.

GlaxoSmithKline Paid $6.4 Million to the Family of a Man Who Murdered Three Family Members Hours After Taking Paxil in 1998

Donald Schell, 60, was prescribed the antidepressant Paxil to treat depression in Wyoming in February 1998. Within hours of taking the first dosage, he burst into a fit of rage and fatally shot his wife, Rita; their daughter, Deborah Tobin; and their 9-month-old granddaughter, Alyssa.

Schell then shot and killed himself. His remaining family members filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the pharmaceutical company behind Paxil, and they were awarded $6.4 million based on “the company’s failure to sufficiently warn doctors and patients that the effects of the drug could include agitation and violence.”

GlaxoSmithKline Also Paid $3 Million to the Widow of a Man Who Committed Suicide After Taking Paxil in 2010

Stewart Dolin, 57, was working as a corporate attorney in Illinois when he was prescribed the generic version of the antidepressant Paxil for depression and anxiety. While taking the drug, he committed suicide by jumping in front of a Chicago Transit Authority train.

His widow, Wendy Dolin, filed a lawsuit against GlaxoSmithKline, arguing that the company failed to warn her husband’s doctor that the drug he was being prescribed would increase his risk of suicidal behavior, which led to his death.

“This for me has not just been about the money. This has always been about awareness to a health issue, and the public has to be aware of this,” Wendy Dolin told the Chicago Tribune after she was awarded $3 million in compensation.

Israeli Army Preparing for War on Six Fronts: Military Official

0

from The Anti Media:

A senior Israeli military official said on Wednesday that the Israeli army is preparing for war on five fronts, in addition to another with Iran.

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Aviv Kochavi, said: “Iran is fueling many terrorist activities in the Middle East”, adding that the Israeli army continues to grow and prepare for any future military confrontation.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of navy officers, Kochavi said the army anticipates war on five fronts but he did not name them.

Meanwhile, Commander of the Israeli navy, General Eli Sharvit, said the navy has the ability to work in absolute secrecy, above and below the water which enables it to expand the scope of operations quickly.

The Israeli army has recently intensified military training on the northern border with Lebanon and Syria and southern border with the occupied Gaza Strip.

Israel is also holding joint military exercises with American troops on its ground this week. About 2,500 US soldiers and 2,000 Israelis are taking part in the drills, which will last for one week, the Sama news agency said.

As Madness Of Elite Spreads To Liberal Followers & The Wheat Is Separated From The Chaff, The ‘Final Battle’ May Come Soon

0

by William B Stoecker, All News Pipeline:

– A Journey Through The Leftist Echo Chamber Proves ‘Liberalism IS A Mental Disorder’

It has been said that most leftists live in a kind of bubble or echo chamber, surrounded by their own kind, where they never have to be “threatened” or made to feel the least bit uncomfortable by hearing opinions other than their own. Living as I do in Jerry Moonbeam’s People’s Republic of Fruits and Nuts (formerly known as “California”) I can say that this is absolutely correct.

Surrounded as I am by leftist loons and very few rational patriots, I must either hang out with the loons or have practically no friends at all. And I must confess that when I was young, foolish, and a bit left of center, I joined the Sierra Club. I am still a moderate environmentalist, but, years ago, I became disillusioned with the club and quit, but continued to go on the hikes with my old comrades. It is hard to turn your back on people you’ve known for 20-40 years, especially when you have shared experiences like dangerous river crossings and negotiating steep terrain, and enduring gut-buster hikes.

There’s a certain amount of bonding that takes place. As I aged I became more and more conservative, but my old comrades, being “progressives,” seem to be incapable of change. As a result, our friendships have become more and more strained; a few of the people I hike with actually hate me, and even my friends think I’m a bit unhinged.

I used to think that I could reason with them, and, hopefully, gradually lead at least some of them to the truth. But they are immune to facts and incapable of logic. They either ignore anything that I try to tell them, or they become angry. I finally gave up the effort.

Their inability to evolve is near-inexcusable, especially considering that they went to school back in a time when even Berkeley was only slightly to the left of center, a time when some real learning took place in the universities that have since degenerated into leftist indoc centers. They should know better…but they don’t.

And now they all suffer from TDS, or Trump Derangement Syndrome. They seem to be perpetually outraged, and are doubling down on their radical beliefs. On a recent hike almost their entire conversation consisted of pious back-and-forth virtue signaling, to the point where I felt that I was literally in an echo chamber. One of them would complain that Trump is a racist, sexist pig, and another would reply that our President is also Islamophobic.

Still another would complain that the Republicans stole the election (despite evidence of massive vote fraud by the Demoncraps) with the aid of the wicked, wicked Russians, led by the arch-fiend Putin. Yet they liked Russia just fine when the communists were in charge. Essentially they were saying “I’m wonderful, because I think only government-approved thoughts.” These “rebels,” as they see themselves, are the ultimate lock-step conformists.
