War Alert: North Korea Warns The U.S. of Nuclear “Green Light”

0

by Mac Slavo, SHTF Plan:

The United States has been warned by North Korea that it now has a “green light” to use a nuclear attack. The U.S. nuclear submarine’s appearance in South Korea is an excuse for North Korea to consider nuclear repercussions, according to Defense Minister Kang Sun-nam.

“I remind the U.S. military of the fact that the ever-increasing visibility of the deployment of the strategic nuclear submarine and other strategic assets may fall under the conditions of the use of nuclear weapons specified in DPRK law on nuclear force policy,” Sun-nam said in a press statement carried by North Korea’s Central News Agency, as reported by South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.

Amazon Also Plans to Build and Launch Thousands of Controversial FCC-Approved Broadband Satellites

0

by B.N. Frank, Activist Post:

High-speed broadband connections can be achieved via safer and more secure methods than biologically and environmentally harmful wireless-radiation emitting satellites.  Of course, launching them is NOT eco-friendly either.  They also contribute to already dangerous levels of space junk and they are making it more difficult for astronomers to conduct research (see 12).  In regard to Starlink satellites, there have already been so many problems reported about them.  The ones that haven’t fallen from orbit and burned yet are swerving every 10 minutes to avoid collision.  Last year it was reported that their speed is also slowing down everywhere!  Nevertheless, the “captured” Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) continues to approve the launching of tens of thousands of broadband satellites from SpaceX as well as other companies including Amazon.

Brazil’s Leftist Prez Restricts Gun Rights After Dodgy Election.

by Jake Welch, The National Pulse:

Far-left Brazilian President Luiz da Silva has signed a presidential decree restricting civilian access to firearms after the country witnessed increased gun ownership under former President Jair Bolsonaro.

The decision – nicknamed “responsible arms control” – will severely limit guns and ammunition stockpiles, the opening hours of shooting ranges, prohibit certain weapons, including nine-millimeter handguns, and require those purchasing firearms to demonstrate why they need them.

A Third World War Seems a Certainty

0

by Paul Craig Roberts, Paul Craig Roberts:

Putin’s “limited military operation” is turning out to be a disaster for Putin, for Russia, and for the world as it seems to be leading to a major war.

Recently I listed some of the serious consequences for Russia of the limited operation: https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2023/07/18/does-putin-understand-that-russia-is-at-war/  and  https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2023/07/22/another-consequence-of-putins-never-ending-war/

Another is Putin’s failure to take Odessa and close Ukraine from the Black Sea.  As long as Ukraine has Odessa, attacks can be mounted from sea on Crimea, such as the recent attack by 28 drones. What is the value of a limited military operation that leaves the enemy every opportunity to continue its attacks on Russian territory?

Will the European Union Devolve into a Group of Third-World Countries?

by Guy K. Mitchell, Jr., American Thinker:

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Huw Pill, the Bank of England’s chief economist, warned U.K. citizens that they need to accept that they are poorer and stop pushing for higher wages.  “Yes, we’re all worse off,” he said, saying that seeking to offset rising prices with higher wages would only fuel more inflation.  “So somehow in the U.K., someone needs to accept that they’re worse off and stop trying to maintain their real spending power by bidding up prices, whether higher wages or passing energy costs through on to customers, et cetera.”  This was a somber assessment of the state of the U.K. economy and, arguably, of the European Union (E.U.) economy, too.

Neocons Want War with China

by Pepe Escobar, The Unz Review:

It was a photo op for the ages: a visibly well-disposed President Xi Jinping receiving centenarian “old friend of China” Henry Kissinger in Beijing.

Mirroring meticulous Chinese attention to protocol, they met at Villa 5 of the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse – exactly where Kissinger first met in person with Zhou Enlai in 1971, preparing Nixon’s 1972 visit to China.
