The Great Depression was a well-executed plan to seize assets, impoverish the population, and remake society. What comes next is worse..
A recent book by David Webb sheds new light on exactly what happened during the Great Depression. In Webb’s view, it was a set up.
Webb is a successful former investment banker and hedge fund manager with experience at the highest levels of the financial system. He published The Great Taking a few months ago, and recently supplemented it with a video documentary. Thorough, concise, comprehensible and FREE. Why? Because he wants everyone to understand what’s being done.

Refuse to pretend.
“Nobody does. The crowd never thinks. People are only comfortable in a pack, and they’re most comfortable in one that’s racing off a cliff.”
Deacon Bainbridge to Daniel Durand, The Golden Pinnacle, Robert Gore, (2013)
The pack is racing off a cliff. There is a vast complex telling them that they are not, and that they won’t be hurt when they smash on the rocks below.
by Philip Giraldi, The Unz Review:
We are now at the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 Attacks that ushered in our current century and unleashed a series of wars, killing or displacing many millions. The highest-profile terrorist attacks in human history had tremendous importance both for the world and our own country, but a couple of decades later their memory has now dimmed, especially after the worldwide Covid epidemic and Russia’s Ukraine war, two much more recent events of even greater global magnitude.
by The Sharp Edge, Corey’s Digs:
Newly released footage offers transparency to the January 6th deception.
For nearly three years, the DC establishment uniparty has perpetuated the lie that the January 6th protest was an “insurrection,” by carefully controlling the information disseminated to the public about the events that transpired on that fateful day and repressing dissent against Biden’s illegitimate presidency utilizing the full weight of the Justice Department.
by Greg Hunter, USA Watchdog:
It is looking like the Democrats are making theft legal in New York. Donald Trump is on the verge of losing nearly a half billion dollars of property in Westchester County because he lost a fraud case where nobody actually was a victim of fraud. The case is a classic study in abuse of power by the New York State Attorney General and a judge willing to suspend reality to bankrupt the GOP nominee for President. Theft appears legal in New York if it is orchestrated by Dems against the GOP. The Appellate Court should step in and put a stop to the theft for the good of everyone.
from Moonbattery:
Meanwhile, as celebrity pubs are seized by squatters in London, this is the state of affairs at ground zero for the squatter epidemic — namely, New York:
A crafty squatter bilked his landlord of at least $72,000 in rent for his Lower East Side apartment — then made tens of thousands in profit by subletting the unit, the owner charges.
For three years, computer programmer Thor Boucher hasn’t paid a cent of his bargain-rate $2,000-a-month, two-bedroom, one-bathroom Essex Street pad, claiming he didn’t have to because the building was noisy and shook, according to landlord Ed Yau and Manhattan Civil Court documents.
The alleged freeloader had no qualms renting the space out, though, charging as much as $1950 per room monthly since November 2021 on platforms including Airbnb and Craigslist.
Some actually benefited from Covid tyranny:
from Moonbattery:
The problem with leftists’ race-based strategy is that blacks make up only 13% of the American population. But Democrats are working on that via welfare and immigration policy. New York represents a microcosm of the progress they are making:
by Charles Lipson, Global Research:
As vice president, Joe Biden sent some 5,000 emails – many to his son, Hunter – using secret pseudonyms. However, without knowing exactly what these pseudonyms were, nobody could request the emails under the “Freedom of Information” Act. As of this week, that’s no longer the case: congressional investigators have discovered at least three pseudonyms and requested the documents.
Unfortunately, they’ve been met with a stonewall – the same one that has met all their requests for information from the administration. We still don’t know what the emails said, who replied to them, and who else was copied in. That means we do not know whether Hunter Biden forwarded them to business partners either to share inside information or to demonstrate powerful connections.

I was reading a piece about EA — Effective Altruism — its intellectual godfather the utilitarian philosopher Peter Singer, and how billionaires from Elon Musk to SBF are directing billions into solving global poverty with EA. Then all of a sudden the writer swung into a discussion of AI — Artificial Intelligence — and the challenge of saving the world when AI really gets going.
