In today’s main blog I made a brief passing reference to Bai Den Dzhao’s not-so-subtle implication that his uncle was eaten by cannibals during World War Two. A spokesman for the Greater New Guinea Ecole Superieur de Cuisine de Cannibalisme flatly denied the rumor, stating that such behavior made a mockery of New Guinea’s cannibalism dietary regulations, and that simply put, there was not “enough sauce in all of the Indonesian archipelago to make any Bai Den family member taste good,” and that the entire family was on the list of prohibited meals and drugs, due to Hunter’s well-known habits. “We can’t have our people dining on someone like him,” the spokesman said, “and then becoming high and committing all sorts of crimes like graft, bribery, influence peddling, or other kinds of corruption. On April I, Israel launched an attack on an annex to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. The attack killed a leading Iranian general. In retaliation, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel the following Saturday night, going into Sunday morning. Although the US and Israel shot down most of the missiles, there is reason to think that the attack did more damage than has been reported in the mainstream press. If Israel answers back with another attack, especially a nuclear attack, this could lead to a thermonuclear war that could destroy the world.
