by Jim Hoft, The Gateway Pundit:

New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo took part in a die-in protest against gun owners Wednesday in New York City.

Hong Kong Protestor Pictured With a Pro-Second Amendment Sign

by Jose Nino, Big League Politics:

Things are heating up in Hong Kong.

The New York Times reports that activists are calling for a general strike and rallies on Monday, August 5, 2019.

Such unrest has led to massive disruptions on subway and rail lines. Additionally, more than 200 flights from the city’s airport have been cancelled.

These demonstrations are part of a larger wave of protests against an unpopular extradition bill that was introduced in recent months.

22 People Shot During a Mass Shooting Sunday, But it Doesn’t Fit the Narrative, So Media is Ignoring It

by Rachel Blevins, The Free Thought Project:

At least 22 people were injured in a mass shooting in a state that has notoriously strict gun control laws—and it has quickly disappeared from headlines.

Trenton, New Jersey – Reports of a mass shooting at an arts festival in which at least 22 people were injured may have sounded like the perfect recipe to send anti-gun politicians and mainstream media pundits to their soapboxes to call for increased gun control, but instead, it has quietly disappeared from the headlines, and there are a few notable reasons why.

Around 1,000 people were enjoying the Arts All Night festival when gunfire broke out around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday. While the horrific incident included some of the basic elements of typical mass shootings, with a gunman opening fire on an unarmed crowd, there are a few distinct differences that set it apart.

SIG Sauer P220 Desert Model

by Sarah Latimer, Survival Blog:

I’m a real sucker for super-accurate handguns, and the SIG Sauer line-up has always proven themselves in this respect. We tested the P220 Desert model .45 ACP handgun from SIG and found it to be a winner.

Impressed with SIG Sauer P220 Imported Under Browning Name

I’ll admit, I haven’t always been on top of the firearms game, when it came to the newest models out there. Even today, I don’t have the time to browse every gun maker’s website once a week or so to see what is new and exciting. I obtained my first FFL in 1980 and started out just doing gunsmithing, but eventually I got into buying and selling firearms. It was during this time that a customer asked me to order them a Browning BDA .45 ACP! I have to admit, I didn’t know what kind of pistol that was, until I actually received it for the customer. It was a SIG Sauer P220 .45 ACP handgun that was being imported under the Browning name. I was more than a little impressed with this fine handgun when it arrived.

Marine Veteran Rebukes David Hogg: “Grow Up & Deal With Criticism Like An Adult Or Shut Up!”

by Tim Brown, Freedom Outpost:

Joe Newby of Conservative Firing Line wrote a letter to Hogg, in which he both sympathized with the loss of friends in the Parkland high school shooting on Valentine’s Day this year and gave him a rude awakening to the reality of life itself, something that a true friend would do.

David Hogg has been whining not just about his disdain for the Constitution, specifically the Second Amendment, but also for the fact that Fox News’ host Laura Ingraham dared to mock his failure at getting into four colleges, which she apologized for but shouldn’t have. Hogg, still just a child, can’t take the criticism and called for a ban of Fox News because he was exposed for how obviously ill-equipped he is to get in those schools, but is obviously controlled enough to be a useful idiot for the Communists.

Media Silent As US Agrees To ‘Full Implementation’ of United Nations Gun Control Pact

by Rachel Blevins, The Free Thought Project:

The United States quietly agreed to an alarming gun control agreement presented by the UN to track “the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons.”

While the United States is typically set apart from other countries when it comes to gun laws, a recent conference with the United Nations has raised major red flags, as the U.S. agreed to enact “full implementation” of an international agreement on gun control that will violate Americans’ constitutional rights by adding their personal information to a global database.

The Third Review Conference (RevCon) of the United Nations’ Program of Action (PoA) on Small Arms and Light Weapons was held in New York last week with a 2018 agreement, which states that its purpose is to serve as “a renewed commitment to prevent, combat and eradicate the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons in all its aspects.”

The REAL Resistance: Sheriffs in Washington State REFUSE to Enforce Unconstitutional Gun Laws

by Daisy Luther, The Organic Prepper:

Washington state recently introduced bills for some of the strictest gun laws in the country but they have some very important opponents: the sheriffs.

Long thought to be the last line of defense between authoritarianism and freedom, sheriffs are in a unique position. As elected officials, basically nobody has authority over them – not the judges, not the Feds – no one except the people who may or may not choose to re-elect them.

YouTube Cracks Down Further On Gun Channels

by Tom Knighton, Lew Rockwell:

YouTube started out awesome. You could post videos of anything you wanted, pretty much. Then, over time, they realized that if they paid content creators, those creators could churn out better content. It was pretty cool. People could make a living entertaining folks or teaching them cool stuff.

However, YouTube soon started to turn left politically. They started demonetizing content they disagreed with while turning a blind eye to content they did. This forced content creators–people who often made their living off of YouTube money–to find alternative avenues for revenue.

Gun channels ran into this occasionally, as well, among other things. YouTube, despite being a great place to find gun content, began to crack down on gun channels.

DOJ report shows just how few legally purchased guns are used to commit crimes

from True Pundit:

A Department of Justice report shows that only seven percent of nearly 300,000 state and federal prisoners who possessed a firearm during their crime purchased the gun from a licensed firearm dealer.

The report estimates that 287,400 prisoners had a gun on them when they committed the crime for which they are imprisoned, and a majority of those prisoners either stole the gun, found it at the scene of the crime, or bought it off the street or from the underground market, according to the 2016 Survey of Prison Inmates.

Ruger EC9s

by Pat Cascio, Survival Blog:

For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried a second (or backup) handgun to my main handgun, and these days we have quite a selection of small, compact handguns to pick from. We’re looking at the new Ruger EC9s 9mm handgun today. It is one super, little, concealed carry piece.

Ruger- Affordable Handguns

I’ve stated this before, but I will say it again; for the most part, Ruger www.ruger.com is producing guns that are for us blue collar workers. Now that’s not to say that they aren’t producing some outstanding upper-end firearms, because they are. However, many of the handguns produced by Ruger are in the very “affordable” price range, if you ask me, and that’s a good thing. I’ve been a fan of Ruger for more years that I can remember, easily more than 40 years.

I’m Unarmed — What Gun Do I Buy?

by Frog, Survival Blog:

You’re sitting at home with your family in a suburb at what is normally a comfortable distance of 30 to 60 minutes from your nearest major city. Life feels as normal as it can — quarantine being considered — and your dinner is interrupted by the news that there is is rioting in the adjoining city. Then, the country is rioting; finally, international cities are rioting. You’ve been aware of the need preparedness for some time, but you find yourself without a firearm. What do you do?

A serious question: When will the first “vaccine enforcers” be shot by parents defending their children against the felony assault of forced immunizations?

by Mike Adams, Natural News:

The political Left in America today now openly advocates the murder of living human babies, even after they’re born. This is part of the new abortion legislation that has been passed and signed into law in both New York and Vermont… and the entire idea of killing human babies in the name of “women’s rights” is spreading to more states, much to the applause of Democrats who cheer the new “right” to kill babies with your bare hands.

Armed School Resource Officer Engages Maryland High School Shooter

by Christian Datoc, Daily Caller:

The Great Mills High School student who injured two others Tuesday morning was stopped by the school’s armed resource officer.

According to St. Mary’s County Sheriff Tim Cameron, the school resource officer (SRO) fired a round at the shooter, who fired a round in return. The shooter is now dead, Cameron confirmed Tuesday morning, and an investigation will determine whether the SRO’s bullet struck the shooter.

The incident is now over, though the shooter managed to injure two students. One of them is in critical condition in the hospital, Cameron said. The SRO was not injured during the incident.

A New Paradigm to Beat the Gun-Grabbers

by Civis Americanus, American Thinker:

General Patton wrote of mounted swordsmanship that the best parry is a disabled opponent, and the same principle applies to political conflicts. The pro-Second Amendment side makes the mistake of “defending its Second Amendment rights,” aka “preaching to the choir.” Those who support the Second Amendment do not need persuasion while the Propaganda Man, the undecided or even hostile voter whom we seek to at least alienate from the enemy, does not own firearms and does not care about “our gun rights.” Our goal instead should be to prove to the Propaganda Man that the enemy leaders are dishonest, manipulative, and self-serving. This offensive rather than defensive approach destroyed the anti-Second Amendment Million Mom March more than 19 years ago and will discredit its counterparts today..
