CNN claimed peaceful activists demonstrated at the G20 summit and downplayed the violent riots reported by every other news agency.
“An eclectic and international mix of demonstrators peacefully tramped through the streets of Hamburg on Saturday, a show of anti-capitalist muscle in earshot of the world’s top leaders who were finishing up at the G20 summit,” the fake news outlet reported. “Up to 50,000 people turned out, police in the northern German city estimated.”

Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University recently made a scientific breakthrough using machine algorithms to accurately guess what people are thinking. In other words, as the university referred to it, they have “harness[ed] ‘mind reading’ technology to decode complex thoughts.”
The researchers report that they can “now use brain activation patterns to identify complex thoughts, such as, ‘The witness shouted during the trial.’”
Though the technology does not identify the actual words, lead researcher Marcel Just, D.O. Hebb University Professor of Psychology in the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, has made enough progress that “machine learning algorithms with brain imaging technology” can effectively ‘read minds.’

Minneapolis, MN – Sadly, there’s been another cop versus dog shooting. This time the horrific shooting took place in Minneapolis and didn’t involve just one family pet — but their two dogs.
As TFTP has noted, if citizens kill police dogs, it’s practically considered murder, and the suspects are charged with felonious assault on a police officer (dog). But since police wear a badge, they can kill our pets at will with hardly any ramifications.
Jennifer LeMay did her part to protect her home and property by installing security cameras, and we’re glad she did because the shooting of her two dogs was caught on camera.

I often find myself looking up the nutrient profiles of the foods I eat. I try to do it on a regular basis, just to see where my diet is lacking. What I usually discover, is that I’m deficient in one nutrient or another. You really need to eat a lot of really high quality foods to take in the vitamins and minerals that are recommended by the FDA. And even when you pull that off, it’s still isn’t necessarily enough. The daily recommended values that you see printed on the sides of most food packages, often reflect the minimum nutrients you need, rather than the most optimum nutrient intake.
And I know that I’m not alone. Despite the fact that people living in the United States have access to more food than anyone else in the world, or throughout human history for that matter, millions of Americans are still deficient in many different kinds of nutrients. The most common of which include:

A team of computer scientists and electrical engineers at the University of Washington have designed and unveiled the world’s first battery-free mobile phone that makes use of ambient radio waves or light to function. The phone was touted to “harvest” a few microwatts of power from the said sources to send and receive calls. The team even reported placing Skype calls using the battery-free phone, which demonstrated that it can be used to receive and transmit speech and communicate with a base station. The phone was made of commercial, off-the-shelf components.

My friend Michael is one of the most successful entrepreneurs I know.
Several years ago Michael started an automated domain business that used software to buy domains, find the most likely buyer, and then sell them.
For example, Michael’s custom software would buy, say, XYZ.com.
Then it would scan online domain records to determine the most likely buyer of that domain… perhaps the owner of XYZ.net.
His software would then send that person an email offering them XYZ.com at a pre-determined price.

President Trump and his advisors began the great game with China at the G20 in Hamburg. Economic competition and regional access in the South China Sea are some of the reasons the Trump administration would like to drive a wedge between China and Russia to the greatest extent possible.
As Jim Rickards has said, in a three player game, you don’t want to be the odd-man out. This means that the U.S. would like to keep Russia neutral — or better, make Russia an ally — before any conflict reaches a head between the U.S. and China.
To do this, the Trump administration needs to think carefully about Russia’s interests. What, if anything, could the U.S. do to influence Russia in any potential situation that develops between the U.S. and China?

Germany’s pivotal moment in history is clearly upon us.
The infiltration of Germany, since its very inception as a nation in 1870, by the cabal was to ensure their worst possible nightmare of a Berlin – Moscow economic and political axis would never come to pass. If you add Beijing into that equation then that nightmare would become a living demolition of all that the cabal aspired and dreamt of leading to the resurrection of the new Silk Road which would then extend right across Europe in a new economic, social and political paradigm which was about everything US Hegemony was not, namely mutual cooperation between all nations to achieve desired goals which would benefit everyone instead of a chosen elite and their unholy trinity of death, destruction and grand larceny.

An investment that can be gutted by financial rules changing overnight is not safe.
What’s the safest investment as the global economy enters increasingly risky, troubled times? I’ve reviewed hundreds of academic papers, investment reports and newsletters and researched long-term strategies and backtests and reached one conclusion.
I won’t keep you in suspense: it’s bat guano (or seabird guano if you can’t get the bat stuff). Yes, bat doo-doo is the safest single investment on the planet.
OK, so I didn’t do a lot of fancy research because that would have been a waste of time. If the era we’re entering is fundamentally unlike the previous eras, then studying past investment results and strategies will generate dangerously misleading conclusions.
Here’s the thinking that leads to bat guano being the number one Safest Investment.
