Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has dropped a bombshell: the U.S. House passed a $40 million funding package for Morocco that specifically referenced plans to invade Ceuta just weeks before a massive migrant surge into the Spanish enclave.
Massie says nearly all Republicans voted YES. He was the sole GOP vote against it. Now those same Republicans are acting shocked over the border crisis they helped create.
But here’s what they’re not telling you: this was all about Israel.

Why Would Republicans Fund an Invasion of Spain?
Spain has been one of Europe’s most outspoken critics of Israel’s military actions. The Spanish government has condemned Israeli operations, recognized Palestinian statehood, and refused to bow to Israeli pressure.
So how does the GOP punish Spain? They fund Morocco.
Morocco has been quietly cozying up to Israel as part of the Trump-brokered normalization deals. By handing Morocco $40 million and legitimizing its claim over Ceuta and Melilla — Spanish territory — the GOP sends a clear message.
Punish Spain. Reward Morocco. Please Israel.
The Damning Evidence
A House committee report accompanying the funding bill actually recognized Morocco’s claim over Ceuta and Melilla and encouraged diplomatic engagement with Spain to transfer the territory.
Massie called it what it is: “The House of Representatives passed a bill that AUTHORIZED the transfer of Spanish territory to Morocco”.
The timing is everything:
- Bill passes → Morocco gets $40 million and U.S. backing on territorial claims
- Two weeks later → Thousands of migrants surge into Ceuta
- Spain is overwhelmed — chaos on European soil
- Republicans pretend to be outraged
Marjorie Taylor Green Joins the Accusation
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green has amplified Massie’s claims, pointing the finger directly at Republican leadership. The message is simple:
Republicans paid $40 MILLION of your tax dollars to Morocco to invade Spain.
