I think you need to assess where we stand now, versus where we stood on February 28. The Strait was fully open on 2/28. Now it will be open, with some sort of toll to Iran. We probably lost/used up at least $150 billion of equipment/facilities/arms. Trump has obligated to rebuild Iran with $300 billion, while Americans are drowning financially due to Trump’s decisions.
Iran was heavily sanctioned, oil trickling out, and had tens of billions in cash frozen. Now all these restrictions are released and Iran will be richer than they were on 2/28. Iran didn’t have a nuclear bomb on 2/28 and they still do not. The goal of regime change was a complete failure.

I know Trump will declare victory, because he is bloviating egomaniac, but he clearly lost this gamble, based on the facts and not the false narratives spun by Trump and his toadies. Of course, the entire agreement will likely be obliterated when the murderous psychopath Netanyahu decides to continue his Greater Israel master plan by attacking Lebanon/Gaza/Syria once again.
