Newly released internal Department of Justice (DOJ) files appear to implicate former President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, in alleged human trafficking-related activity, reviving explosive accusations first raised years ago by Senate Republicans.
The records, obtained Monday by Senate Judiciary Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, reportedly contain text message exchanges in which Hunter Biden discussed payments, travel arrangements, and lengthy meetings with multiple women.

According to Grassley, several of the exchanges appear to raise potential concerns under the federal Mann Act.
The Mann Act prohibits interstate prostitution and certain sex trafficking-related offenses.
The revelations appear to bolster warnings Republicans issued in a September 2020 Senate report that suggested Hunter Biden may have paid Eastern European women for prostitution or interacted with individuals potentially connected to a human trafficking network.
Text Messages Detail Payments, Flights, and Extended Meetings
The newly reviewed files reportedly include discussions involving payment methods such as Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and wire transfers.
In one November 2018 exchange, Hunter Biden allegedly booked a flight for an unidentified woman traveling from Los Angeles to another location.
