by Frank Bergman, Slay News:

FBI Director Kash Patel has revealed that agents uncovered a previously unknown “burn bags” room inside FBI headquarters containing sensitive documents tied to the Trump-Russia hoax.

However, Patel has now revealed that the secret room was not even listed on official building maps.

Patel made the disclosure during an appearance on “Hang Out with Sean Hannity.”

The discovery raises fresh questions about how key materials from the anti-Trump Russiagate probe were handled inside the bureau.

Hidden Room, Unburned Documents

Patel explained that multiple “burn bags,” used to destroy classified materials, were discovered inside the concealed room.

“They weren’t burned, but the room was also off the map,” Patel said.

“It wasn’t on our blueprint, and nobody had access to it.”

A burn bag, he noted, is typically “a large paper bag that you use to destroy and literally shred and burn classified information.”

Despite their intended purpose, the documents inside this room had not been destroyed, fueling concerns about why they were preserved and who knew about their existence.

‘Mother Lode’ Of Russiagate Documents

Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino previously described discovering what he called the “mother lode” of documents related to “Crossfire Hurricane,” the FBI’s investigation into alleged collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia.

Bongino suggested the materials may have been deliberately left intact.

“I’m reading this document, and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe this happened in the United States,’” Bongino said.

“It wasn’t just that it happened in the United States, it was that so many people knew about it.”

“All you had to do was read it,” he added.
