Jeffrey Epstien’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell invoked the fifth amendment of the US constitution on Monday, granting her right to remain silent as she appeared at a US congressional hearing.

After the hearing, her attorney, David Markus said Maxwell was ‘prepared to speak fully and honestly if granted clemency’.

“Some may not like what they hear, but the truth matters,” Marcus added. “For example, both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of any wrongdoing. MsMaxwell alone can explain why, and the public is entitled to that explanation.”
