After the horrifying tragedy that we just witnessed, nobody is going to be able to deny that there is a rising tide of far left violence in America. By now, most of you have viewed the footage of Charlie Kirk being assassinated. It is a moment that will be burned into our memories forever, and all of us will remember exactly where we were when it happened. This is truly a pivotal moment for our nation. Every time there is a large public gathering involving a major conservative figure, everyone will be thinking about the possibility of another assassination attempt. The far left declared war on the right long ago, but at first most people on the right didn’t seem to get it. The sort of violent civil unrest that many of us have been warning about for a long time is here, and it isn’t going to go away any time soon.

For those of you that are just learning the news, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a speaking event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday…
Charlie Kirk has died after being shot in the neck at an event at Utah Valley University, President Donald Trump confirmed.
The conservative commentator, 31, was hit by a single bullet while speaking to crowds at the public university in Orem on Wednesday afternoon.
Father-of-two Kirk, known for his fierce MAGA views and thrilling debates with college kids across the country, collapsed immediately after being hit by the gunfire.
He was only 31 years old.
He had a young wife and two very young children.
But many on the far left don’t seem to care.
In fact, some of them are publicly celebrating this assassination.
That tells us a lot about where we are as a society.
At the moment he was shot, Kirk was responding to a question about mass shootings…
Video posted on social media shows the moment Charlie Kirk was shot and the seconds leading to the incident. Kirk was being asked questions about mass shootings in America.
“Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America in the last 10 years?” a person asks. “Counting or not counting gang violence?” Kirk responds right before he is shot.
The shooter fired at Kirk from the top of the Losee Center, which was approximately 200 feet from where Kirk was located.
Footage that is being widely shared on social media shows the shooter running across the roof of the Losee Center after Kirk had been hit.
Down below, the very large crowd that had gathered descended into a state of panic…
Sophie Anderson, 45, who was standing 100 feet from the stage when the shooting happened, told the Daily Mail that she almost got trampled as she ran off into the food court where she hit in a closet.
’The second it happened, I knew it was a gunshot,’ said Anderson, who was joined at the event by her boss Phil Lyman, a former Utah state representative who was handing out hats on stage with Kirk just five minutes earlier.
’He was shot in the neck and just fell over and he was just a fountain of blood,’ she said. ‘They carried him off. All these kids are just falling apart and bawling.’
One student at Utah Valley University that was at the event said that he actually got trampled by a couple of people that were attempting to get out of there…
“We hear a shot and then there’s a wave of blood come out of his chest, and we all get down. I had a couple of people trample me actually, so it was pretty horrific,” said Ethan, a student at the school.”
Utah Valley University is currently on lockdown and all classes have been canceled for the day. Those who remain on campus should contact police for an escort before leaving. BYU in nearby Provo said it remains open but with an increased police presence.
“It just sound[ed] like an earthquake, and everyone starts screaming,” said Angeline Paul, who was in a classroom next to the courtyard. “And then all these kids start running into our classroom … falling on the ground, and they’re like, ‘There’s a shooter! There’s a shooter!’”
Initially, there were reports that Kirk was still alive.
But shortly thereafter, President Trump confirmed that he was dead…
The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!
Immediately after the shooting, authorities detained an elderly white male, but they quickly determined that he was not the shooter.
At this hour the FBI has taken another suspect into custody, but so far they are not releasing any additional details…
A suspect accused of opening fire at Charlie Kirk as he spoke at Utah Valley University has been taken into custody, FBI Director Kash Patel has confirmed.
