Evidence of a Deep State conspiracy to undermine Donald Trump’s first presidency continues to pile up.
The director of the FBI discovered thousands of sensitive documents related to the Russia Collusion hoax in “burn bags” set to be destroyed, according to a Fox News exclusive report based on confidential sources. That news broke the day before Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) declassified documents that provide more evidence that the FBI covered up a Hillary Clinton campaign plot to fabricate election-meddling connections between Donald Trump and Russia.

The Annex
Grassley’s office announced on Thursday the release of the annex to John Durham’s 2023 Special Counsel report. “The Durham annex contains previously classified information exposing a reported Clinton campaign plan to falsely tie President Donald Trump to Russia,” Grassley’s office said in an announcement of its release. He called the Russia Collusion hoax “one of the biggest political scandals and cover-ups in American history.” Moreover, Grassley said:
Based on the Durham annex, the Obama FBI failed to adequately review and investigate intelligence reports showing the Clinton campaign may have been ginning up the fake Trump-Russia narrative for Clinton’s political gain, which was ultimately done through the Steele Dossier and other means. These intelligence reports and related records, whether true or false, were buried for years. History will show that the Obama and Biden administration’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies were weaponized against President Trump. This political weaponization has caused critical damage to our institutions and is one of the biggest political scandals and cover-ups in American history. The new Trump administration has a tremendous responsibility to the American people to fix the damage done and do so with maximum speed and transparency.
The Durham annex includes information on how Representative and then-Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) and people at George Soros’ Open Society Foundations were involved in crafting a narrative designed to blunt public scrutiny of Clinton’s email server scandal while broadcasting at high decibels the lie of Trump’s election collusion with Russia. According to a partial summary of the annex:
The Durham annex describes that, in July 2016, the FBI received additional intelligence regarding a possible Clinton Campaign Plan, including documents with purported emails allegedly sent by Leonard Benardo, Senior Vice President of Soros’ Open Society Foundations. The intelligence included data providing specificity on the plan and the attempt to smear then-candidate Donald Trump by falsely linking him to Russia, while apparently counting on the support of the FBI to open up an investigation.
In one instance, Benardo wrote that he expected the FBI to “put more oil into the fire,” a reference to the idea that once the propaganda was out, the FBI would legitimatize it. That move would strike two birds with one stone. In addition to shining the spotlight on the fake Trump scandal, it would deflect from Clinton’s authentic email scandal. He also wrote in an email that Clinton approved the “idea about Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections,” adding, “That should distract people from her own missing email[s], especially if the affair goes to the Olympic level.” You can read the annex here.
The Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility
The secret documents discovered by FBI Director Kash Patel included elements of the annex Grassley just released. Patel, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and acting National Security Agency Director William Hartman collaborated on declassifying the annex.
Reportedly, this came about when Patel and his team found a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) in FBI headquarters. That’s where the burn bags filled with documents lay. Patel talked about this finding with popular podcaster Joe Rogan in June. He claimed that the former director of the FBI, James Comey, intentionally hid the documents:
Me, as director of the FBI, the former “Russiagate guy,” when I first got to the bureau, found a room that Comey and others hid from the world in the Hoover Building, full of documents and computer hard drives that no one had ever seen or heard of. Locked the key and hid access and just said, “No one’s ever gonna find this place.”… So my guys are going through that right now.
