Emails sourced from the Open Society Foundations reveal shocking details, with one email from Leonard Bernardo, a top figure at the organization, outlining plans to smear Trump and distract from Hillary Clinton’s own scandals.
The emails indicate that key Clinton allies pushed for the creation of a narrative that would align Russian interference with Trump’s campaign, all while downplaying their own wrongdoing.
“Two of the apparently hacked emails appear to have originated from the Open Society Foundations,” the unsealed appendix states, noting that the purported author of these emails was Bernardo.
