Leftist ideologies spawn violence. This was made obvious by 2020’s destructive riots pursued in honor of a habitual criminal whose overdose death in police custody inspired burning, looting, murder, and destroyed city-center neighborhoods across the country. It’s being underscored again by burning rage in LA over the deportation of foreign criminals. It’s clear that Leftists love their criminals!
What may not be quite so clear are the specific reasons why subscribers to Leftist ideologies become, themselves, more violence-prone than do subscribers to other political causes, such as Pro-Life or MAGA. A clue is offered by the curious demographic composition of riotous political “protest” groups: They are disproportionately white and female. Why is that?

The answers to both questions – why does Leftism cultivate violence and why are majority-race females more vulnerable to the indoctrination ⎯ become clear as we examine the common threads running through each of the doctrines that comprise Contemporary Leftist Orthodoxy.

Leftist ideologies spawn violence because they replace respect for our fellow human beings, aka, morality, with collective grievance cultivated by identity politics.
The Leftists who dominate our public school system have taught increasing portions of several generations that the USA was “built by slaves,” Western Civilization is founded on oppression, and that Caucasian people are all guilty by reason of skin color. These subversive ideas (on which collective grievances are sown) are propagated in such a way as to leverage the strong natural need for social cohesion present among all children, and more so among girls. Most children quickly learn that a claim of “oppressed minority” group membership conveys special “virtue” and coveted status. Is there any wonder why, in the absence of favored skin color, so many more kids are aligning with the LGBTQIA++WTF identity group than had in the past?
Children quickly learn, also, that public renouncement of their majority (oppressor) race and heritage, especially when accompanied by “passionate” activism for Leftist causes, offers the only redemption for the sin of their majority-group “privilege.”
Political activism has become a redemptive sacrament for the Godless victims of Leftist ideology.
The names given to this subversive ideology and its destructive policy prescriptions have varied over the decades: Social Justice, Critical Race Theory, DEI, and Affirmative Action. However, when acted upon in any setting, all of this strips autonomy from the individual in favor of having authorities administer outcomes that satisfy statistical goals. And all have become both more extreme and pervasive with time.
Thankfully, the Supreme Court has dealt a decisive blow (June 5, 2025 – AMES v. OHIO DEPT. OF YOUTH SERVICES https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/23-1039_c0n2.pdf) to the virtue-signaling practice of offering preference to members of favored identity groups by removing the “higher evidentiary standard” that has so far burdened discrimination cases brought by majority-group members. Even so, it will take a long while for the ideological root of this motivation-crushing practice to wither and die. It’s been woven seamlessly into academic content and both corporate and government agency HR departments over the past few decades.
