“I’m telling you and the American public… We have found material, information, and people who wanted to hide it from the world since we got in these seats,” said Patel, a former lead investigator for the House Intelligence Committee under Chairman Devin Nunes. Patel played a central role in exposing the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion probe. Watch here.

Patel and Bongino accused former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and former agent Peter Strzok of committing crimes including lying to a federal court, using taxpayer dollars to fund political operations, and withholding documents from Congress.

“As much as we know about Crossfire Hurricane, he and I just found out more last week,” Patel added. “We’re about to see a wave of transparency. Just give us about a week or two.”

The Crossfire Hurricane probe, launched in July 2016 by Strzok, was based on third-hand claims that the Russian government sought post-election ties with Trump campaign staff. The “electronic communication” that initiated the investigation was obtained by Judicial Watch via a FOIA lawsuit and later declassified by President Trump on January 19, 2021, revealing a lack of verified intelligence and confirming the probe’s politically charged origins.

The now-infamous declassified binder contains hundreds of pages allegedly detailing intelligence community abuses, including tasking orders for FBI informants Christopher Steele and Stefan Halper and a copy of the final FISA warrant used against Trump advisor Carter Page.

After the 2022 FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, reports surfaced that agents were specifically searching for a “missing top-secret binder” believed to implicate CIA and FBI officials from the Obama administration in constructing the collusion narrative. The binder is also said to include intercepted communications and documents connecting Fiona Hill to the dossier’s origins.

Patel and Bongino also addressed ongoing investigations into assassination attempts against President Trump, saying two are actively being prosecuted, which limits what information can be publicly disclosed. Bongino emphasized that while every detail has been reviewed, there is “no explosive ‘there’ there,” adding, “If it was there, we would have told you.”

Asked by Maria Bartiromo about Jeffrey Epstein’s death, both officials doubled down on the conclusion that the financier and convicted sex offender died by suicide. “You know a suicide when you see one. And that’s what that was,” Patel stated. Bongino added, “He killed himself.” Watch statement.

Senator John Kennedy (R-La.) pressed Patel on whether the FBI would publicly release all Epstein-related materials. Patel responded that they are working through the case with the Department of Justice, balancing public transparency with protection of victims and sensitive materials like CSAM. Bongino previously confirmed, eight days ago, that the FBI is managing “voluminous amounts of downloaded child sexual abuse material” as part of the Epstein case.
