Elon Musk, leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), suggested on Monday that former Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) could be an ideal candidate for Federal Reserve Chairman. Responding to remarks by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Musk took to social media to echo support for Paul, stating, “Great idea!” in response to Kirk’s assertion that Paul would excel in the role.

This endorsement marks Musk’s second public backing for Paul over the weekend. In another instance, Musk shared a post featuring the cover of Paul’s book End the Fed, alongside a comment from an X user, “Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come.”
