Woke Netflix Doc ‘Queen Cleopatra’ Becomes LOWEST-RATED Show In Rotten Tomatoes History

This is what happens when you alter history in the name of progressivism; terrible ratings, bad content no one likes, and unprecedented failures.

Netflix has a long, cringeworthy track record of this failed “go woke go broke” business strategy. And its addition of Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Queen Cleopatra,” which hosts a black woman as its historic star, is the latest in media flops.

The show was controversial from the start, with even Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism contesting the Netflix show, in addition to the usual Twitter critics who typically call out this woke nonsense from the get go.

One Egyptian attorney even filed a complaint against Netflix for allegedly misrepresenting history. Which is a fair claim – especially considering Cleopatra was Greek/Macedonian and not sub-Saharan African as portrayed in the film.

As Dr. Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Archeology, put it: “The film is classified as a documentary and not a drama, the order that the owners of its industry have to investigate accuracy and refer to historical and scientific facts in order to ensure that the history and civilizations of peoples is not falsified.”

The show was so poorly received, that critics AND regular viewers have awarded it with undeniably terrible ratings since its release. Making “Queen Cleopatra” the lowest-rated show in Rotten Tomatoes history.

From Paul Tassi at Forbes:

However, the show has done something I didn’t think was even possible. It has not just the lowest audience score in Netflix history, it has essentially the lowest audience score possible on Rotten Tomatoes, a 1%. Not a 10%, a 1%. (Update: It just ticked up to 2%. Still an unprecedented low)

There aren’t many critic reviews in, but those are low as well, with the show sitting at a 13%. But those audience scores? I’ve never seen anything like this. Not with bad shows. Not with politically controversial shows prone to review bombing. Never this bad, not in Netflix history. Honesty, I think not even in TV history, at least with this many reviews in (over a thousand).

As we’ve seen time and time again, wokesters pushing for altered history through the media have yet again failed to attract fanfare from the masses. Is the audience simply bigoted? No, but perhaps the content is just bad.
