A brief rundown of how we got to where we are today.

President Donald Trump spent four years working towards securing the border between Mexico and America, fighting against RINOs (Republicans In Name Only), Democrats and the media the entire time. From the battle to build the wall to the Remain In Mexico Policy, Joe Biden made it his priority to undo all the security Trump had worked, and fought, so hard to obtain.

Look at the shirts the people above are wearing, which started right around the time Biden started occupying the White House.

They knew any liberal regime would open the borders right back up, and that is exactly what happened. The Remain in Mexico was terminated, and Biden announced the work to continue building a wall, was ended.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol data, nearly 5 million people crossed the border since the Biden regime took over, costing America taxpayers more than 20+ billion per year, and those are conservative estimates.

Leaders of Southern border states/cities have been very clear for over a decade that they cannot handle in the influx of illegal immigrants in their towns. They do not have the money to support millions of extra people, each year, nor the facilities to car, education, feed or pay for medical treatments.

    It is an unsustainable situation.

Yet liberal states and cities all across America, specifically those not anywhere near the actual border, virtue signaled to other liberals, promoting and passing state laws to set themselves up as “sanctuary cities.”

The phrase sanctuary city is not a legal term, but one developed over time and more recently reflecting a response to ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) policies and actions. In general, a sanctuary city is a community with a policy, written or unwritten, that discourages local law enforcement from reporting the immigration status of individuals unless it involves investigation of a serious crime. These sanctuary communities go beyond cities, though. One can find entire counties and states declaring sanctuary status.

These communities typically do not honor requests by ICE to detain undocumented immigrants whom local agents apprehend for misdemeanor crimes or investigations. Many in sanctuary cities also refuse to deputize their local officers as federal agents, a necessary technicality if those local officers carry out the duties of ICE agents. There is no specific federal law against sanctuary city policies.

While the term is sanctuary city, there are also entire states that have claimed sanctuary status, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont, Washington.

Again, please note that the majority of those states are not located on the southern border, therefore has not had to deal with the problem of illegal immigration, until now.

    PRESENT DAY……………………….

Texas, Arizona, and Florida leaders, conservative all, decided that if Biden was going to open up the borders, sanctuary cities/states should start doing their part to mitigate the costs, crime, educational needs, medical needs, of those they claim to welcome with open arms.

They also wanted to make a point…….

New York City and Washington DC, started receiving busloads of illegal immigrants from border states.

Rather than welcoming them with open arms, the liberal leaders started whining about how they weren’t prepared to handle the influx.

Mayor of DC, Muriel Bowser, even went as far to demand National Guard to help, which the Pentagon denied. NYC Mayor, Eric Adams, insisted that the influx of illegal aliens was a “real burden” on New Yorkers.
