When is a recession not a recession? This seems to be our current positions as people try to redefine what a recession is, and John Rubino discusses this with me in this episode. A recession has always been two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth—which we’ve been seeing. The government is reluctant to call our current circumstance a recession, and people are being accused of spreading misinformation.
