COVID-19 Is Being Made To “Look A Little Bit Worse Than It Is” – Dr. Dan Erickson

by Arjun Walia, Collective Evolution:

  • The Facts:Dr. Dan Erickson and Dr. Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care raise multiple concerns they are seeing with COVID-19 and how we are handling it.
  • Reflect On:Are deaths being miscalculated? Are the number of deaths really far less, and the number of infected far greater?

Is everything that’s told to us by our government and federal health regulatory agencies true? Is the priority of these agencies to protect the people? Should we continuously follow and obey without question, or should we question?

I am not saying that COVID-19 is not dangerous, and it’s not out there, and it’s not real. Neither are the two doctors in the video below. Clearly it is real, it’s dangerous and we should be concerned and take precautions. Keep in mind, other respiratory viruses out there kill several million people every single year, and children as well. They also infect much more than that. In fact, these viruses lead to acute respiratory illness which alone can kill up to five million children a year. These kinds of viruses have always been dangerous, and in many cases overwhelm our hospitals, but we never really hear about them like we have with COVID-19. Why is that?

For example, did you know that metapneumovirus has been shown to have worldwide circulation with nearly universal infection by age 5? Did you know that Outbreaks of metapneumovirus have been well documented every single year, especially in long term care facilities with mortality rates of up to 50%? (source)

I just put out an article regarding a press conference recently held by Dr. Dan Erickson (former emergency-room physician) and Dr. Artin Massihi (emergency medicine specialist affiliated with multiple hospitals) of Accelerated Urgent Care. In that article, I briefly summarized as to why the two California doctors believe that quarantine and lockdown measures that’ve been been put in place, in their opinion, make absolutely no sense. But the interview is a long one, and the doctors answer many questions, make many points, and provide their reasoning for the conclusions they’ve come too, which is why I wanted to put out another article sharing the same interview.

In one part of the interview, Dr. Erickson states the following:

But ER doctors now, my friends that I talk to say, “you know it’s interesting, when I’m writing up my death report I’m being pressured to add COVID.” Why is that? Why are we being pressured to add COVID? To maybe increase the numbers and make it look a little bit worse than it is? I think so. – Erickson

You can watch the full interview below.

I found it to be very brave for him to even mention this  as this narrative, despite being shared by multiple experts, is being labelled as a false one by “fact checkers.” Mainstream media seems to be emphasizing that the deaths as a result of COVID-19 are not being counted correctly as well, only according to them, there are most probably more deaths as a result of the disease that have not been counted. But why are fact checkers able to push one narrative by big media organizations while claiming other narratives, shared be credible sources, are simply false?

For example, Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health, recently pointed out that all people who pass away and test positive for COVID-19, regardless of the cause of death, means that the death will be marked as a COVID-19 death.

According to Ezike,

If you were in hospice and had already been given a few weeks to live and then you were also found to have COVID, that would be counted as  COVID death, despite if you died of a clear alternative cause it’s still listed as a COVID death. So, everyone who is listed as a COVID death that doesn’t mean that was the cause of the death, but they had COVID at the time of death. (source)

I’ve gone more in depth with multiple articles sharing the opinions of multiple doctors and scientists sharing their belief as to why the deaths are being miscalculated, and why the deaths that have been attributed to the new coronavirus have made for an inaccurate, high death count.  It seems to quite plausible that the number of infected people, however, may be far greater which, as the doctors point out below, drive the infection mortality rate much lower. You can read about two recent studies that have been published that suggest this, here.
