The American public is losing confidence in the biggest names in news. The ratings for the former new titans continues to plummet. The numbers are so bad that CNN doesn’t even make the top ten list for prime time viewing. MSNBC and CNN thought they could lie their way to the top of the media mountain. It would’ve worked except for one thing…lies usually get exposed.
Controlling the narrative has been the goal of corporate news media for the past several decades, basically, since the assassination of President Kennedy when the CIA coined the phrase “conspiracy theory” to plant seeds of doubt about the stability of the people questioning the “official narrative”. This was one of the first wide spread uses of Operation Mockingbird by the CIA to shape public opinion.
Operation Mockingbird was a CIA media program that began in the mid 1950’s. The purpose was to seed newspaper and TV news shows with CIA operatives. These CIA operatives were either writing the stories or they would furnish a “journalist” with “facts” about a story. Since the CIA is a trustworthy news source you can see the problems this has and does cause for the American people. In fact it has grown to such a level that this disease now infects a large portion of the world.
Now we can see the end result of this nightmare on full display for all the world to see. I would offer that CNN and MSNBC are both fully staffed by CIA operatives, like Anderson Copper and many others. If CNN doesn’t get a significant amount of funding from the black budget of the Department of Defense I would bet they would have shut down years ago. MSNBC has the daughter of neocon and Council for Foreign Relations co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski. Mika Brzezinski is the host of the morning show on MSNBC with her husband Joe Scarborough.
If these two cable stations were dependent on revenue there presentations would be much different. There would be no multi-million dollar annual contracts for people like Mika Brzezinski and Anderson Copper. Why do I say that with such confidence? The most dramatic decline was in the prized demo, age 25 – 54, with MSNBC down 42% and CNN down 43%. Advertisers are getting barely more than half as many potential consumers watching their ads in both cable news outlets.
To be fair, last year was an election year, and Fox News also experienced a decline of 22%, but that is roughly half the decline of the two progressive outlets.
Fox News lost the crown of the most-viewed cable channel to ESPN, which benefitted from the NBA playoffs.

These two companies are so poorly run it is a wonder they have any viewers at all. Please explain to me how a company with this type of drop in revenue stream can continue? As a “news organization” and your being beat by the Hallmark Channel…well, are you really a news organization? I don’t think so.
