- The Facts:Congressman Adam Schiff put pressure on Amazon to halt ‘vaccine misinformation.’ As a result, amazon has pulled vaccine awareness content.
- Reflect On:Why does the mainstream constantly label arguments as “anti-vax conspiracy theories” instead of actually acknowledging, addressing, and countering the information that questions vaccine safety? Why do they constantly use ridicule?
We are truly living in an age of massive information censorship, and it’s quite reminiscent of George Orwell’s 1984, a classic book depicting a populace ruled by politicians that persecute individualism and independent thinking as “thought crimes” that must be enforced by the “thought police.” This party seeks power above all and, through the propagandist Ministry of Truth, presents the people with their version of the truth. Sound familiar?
The latest example of this was when Congressman Adam Schiff put pressure on Amazon to, according to many mainstream media outlets, halt the spread of ‘anti-vaccination misinformation.’ Thus far it has caused the removal of important and popular films like “We Don’t Vaccinate!,” “Shoot ‘Em Up: The Truth About Vaccines,” and “Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe.” All of these films were available free for Prime subscribers.
Hold on a second–that’s a big problem that we need to highlight and discuss. Why is it that mainstream media outlets constantly use terms like ‘anti-vaccination’ and ‘conspiracy theories’? Hundreds of scientists and peer-reviewed publications have brought up multiple concerns regarding safety issues with several vaccinations, so why aren’t these concerns ever addressed by mainstream media? Why do they constantly use ridicule and terms that bash vaccine safety supporters? Why not just present the information and rationally counter the points made by those who are concerned about the safety of vaccines?
The answer is simple: All of the points brought up by scientists and health professionals who are concerned about vaccine safety are legitimate. They can’t really be countered, which is why we will never see an open, neutral debate on both sides of the coin by scientists and health professionals.
This also relates to the idea that unvaccinated children in the United States have been major contributors to the recent measles outbreaks, but is this even true? J.B. Handley, a private-equity entrepreneur, co-founder of an international autism charity (Generation Rescue), best-selling author (How to End the Autism Epidemic), and father of a child who is autistic.
Luckily, the CDC has a super-easy, interactive map that answers this question very clearly, and I hope any members of the media with a brain start to take a look at the actual data, I took a screenshot of Oregon’s and you better take a screenshot of your state’s before the CDC takes down this weblink: https://www.cdc.gov/…/chi…/data-reports/mmr/trend/index.html
We’re Being Fed Misinformation About Vaccines
So, what’s going on? In his article titled, “CDC, Check YOUR Data: MRR Vaccination Rates are NOT Declining,” published for Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s Children’s Health Initiative, he clearly shows that we are being fed misinformation from the mainstream.
Furthermore, the mainstream never seems to acknowledge the fact that measles outbreaks have occurred in heavily vaccinated populations throughout history. For example, a study published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases – whose authorship includes scientists working for the Bureau of Immunization, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, GA – looked at evidence from the 2011 New York measles outbreak, which showed that individuals with prior evidence of measles vaccination and vaccine immunity were both capable of being infected with measles and infecting others with it (secondary transmission). The study concluded that “measles may occur in vaccinated individuals, but secondary transmission from such individuals has not been documented.” (source)
“This is the first report of measles transmission from a twice vaccinated individual. The clinical presentation and laboratory data of the index were typical of measles in a naïve individual. Secondary cases had robust anamnestic antibody responses. No tertiary cases occurred despite numerous contacts. This outbreak underscores the need for thorough epidemiologic and laboratory investigation of suspected measles cases regardless of vaccination status.”
Through the 1980s, measles outbreaks in fully vaccinated children happened all over the US and other countries with high vaccination rates, yet most people don’t know about this, and we definitely don’t hear about it now.
These measles outbreaks may be due to a failing vaccine rather than a failure to vaccinate. Another recent study published in the highly authoritative Bulletin of the World Health Organization looked at recent measles occurrences throughout China and found that there were 707 measles outbreaks in the country recorded between 2009 and 2012, with a steep upward trend in 2013. “The number of measles cases reported in the first 10 months of 2013 – 26443 – was three times the number reported in the whole of 2012.” This is odd considering that since 2009 “…the first dose of measles-virus-containing vaccine has reached more than 90% of the target population.” One would expect that with an increasing number of measles vaccinations there would be a decrease in measles occurrences.
Furthermore, let’s not forget that hundreds of children have died from the measles vaccine. According to a MedAlerts search of the FDA Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database as of 2/5/19, the cumulative raw count of adverse events from measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines alone was: 93,929 adverse events, 1,810 disabilities, 6,902 hospitalizations, and 463 deaths. What is even more disturbing about these numbers is that VAERS is a voluntary and passive reporting system that has been found to only capture 1% of adverse events.
There are many more examples.
It Started With A Letter To Amazon
Schiff’s letter to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos follows two other letters Schiff sent to Google head Sundar Pichai and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg. In all three, Schiff criticized the platforms for serving up “anti-vaccine propaganda where people look for information about vaccines.” He also called out Amazon for accepting paid advertising for anti-vaccine media.
“Every online platform, including Amazon, must act responsibly and ensure that they do not contribute to this growing public-health catastrophe,” Schiff wrote.
So, why would the government be concerned with pushing a pro-vaccination agenda? Well, the corruption is never-ending when it comes to the link between corporations and government agencies. In fact, only a few years ago, more than a dozen scientists from within the CDC put out an anonymous public statement detailing the influence corporations have on government policies. They were referred to as the Spider Papers.
