from Voice Of Europe:
Matteo Salvini’s leading Italy’s League is now the most popular political party in Italy. A nationwide electoral poll puts them at 33.8 per cent, as revealed Saturday. The highest popularity in Italy’s history.
IPSOS research group inquired about citizen’s voting intentions in their monthly survey finding that the Five Star Movement (M5S), Italy League’s partner in the current coalition government, has fallen by 1.5 per cent during the past month to 28.5 per cent.
Extraordinary numbers: Lega on 41% in north Italy, 31% in central Italy, and 22% in the south https://t.co/Xm0BPE0B2S

From mid-July to now, there is a three per cent drop for M5S, increasing the polarity between the coalition partners.
However, approval ratings of the coalition government and of the prime minister are still quite high. The coalition government has a rating of 64 per cent and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte holds an admirable 67 per cent rating.
The survey also found that Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party fell to 7.8 per cent and the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) at only 17 per cent.
The PD has increased slightly after rallies and media visibility. Whereas some are of the opinion that the Italy League’s continued increase is due to the media presence of Matteo Salvini, Italy’s interior minister and deputy prime minister.
It is my opinion that more-so than just his being in the media, so much as how fiercely he is fighting for his country against illegal immigration and globalist leaders such as France’s Macron and the EU’s Juncker, is what resonates with the Italian people.
The League, under Matteo’s strong leadership, with each month’s poll result has only increased. A trend that has not shown any signs of slowing down.
