Not Fair

by Bob Rinear, The International Forecaster:

Today, I can’t think of one person I know that does NOT know someone suffering at some degree from this disease. Something’s changed folks…

I’m in a mood, and it’s not terribly pleasant. This morning I got a phone call, that I figured was coming one day, but I still didn’t want to hear it. A dear friend of mine lost his wife today to cancer. (Prayers to you buddy.

I hate that disease. It has taken too many of the very people I love. My wife owns a company in the Home Health industry, and we see it all too often. Yes there’s the people suffering from diabetes and ALS, and a myriad of other malfunctions. But by far it’s that damned cancer that physically takes people from us.

However, there’s a real runner up that has been stealing people in ever increasing numbers, and that’s dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease aren’t the same. Dementia is an overall term used to describe symptoms that impact memory, performance of daily activities, and communication abilities. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia. Alzheimer’s disease gets worse with time and affects memory, language, and thought.

As I said, the wife is in Home Healthcare. I have been stunned at the amount of elderly that are suffering really truly serious dementia. And it’s been getting worse over the years. The incidence of these diseases has been on a steady increase for many decades, and it begs the question; why?

When I go to the wife’s office and the phone rings, a typical conversation will go sort of like this; there’s either one spouse calling because their wife/husband is physically compromised, OR one of them is suffering dementia of some degree and they need help. Then of course there’s the “kids” that call us because they live in Wisconsin or Kentucky or Michigan, however their parents moved to Florida 25 years ago, and now both of them “shouldn’t be left alone.” Memory issues, wandering issues, etc.

When we first acquired the business, I thought there must be some mistake, it seemed to me that darned near all our clients had some degree of this problem. Well that was an exaggeration, but the bottom line was/is that it is crazy common.

Again, one has to ask; why? The first thing one generally thinks of is pollution of our environment and especially our food. While I have no argument against that, because I do believe our fastfood/processed junk with too many chemicals is indeed a contributing factor. But I suspect, and have some proof that it’s more than just chemicals and food with no nutrients in it.

You’ve probably seen me make some derogatory statements about the push for “5-G” It isn’t because I think having faster downloads isn’t fun. It isn’t even because it’s so sad that everyone thinks they need this. It isn’t really the whole “internet of things” that gets me going. My problem with it, is that I believe that “4-G” is already behind some of the insanity and mental health problems in this world. 5 G will be like 4G on steroids.

There’s a funny thing about this world that God created. For every “evil” that occurs naturally, there’s a fix. The sun puts out radiation. We have ozone to keep it from killing us. A fire ravages a remote forest. In 10 years there’s a new vibrant “younger” forest. When oil bubbles up in areas it doesn’t belong, naturally occurring bacteria begin to “eat it”. It’s quite amazing.

But when we introduce man made “stuff” into the environment, there’s no natural defense for it. Or if we take something that is natural, like radio waves, but then amplify and extend their frequencies, again there’s no natural defense against it.

We are electrical beings. Nothing happens in your body, or in your mind without an electrical impulse sent via the nervous system. Does it not make sense then, that if we overload the natural defenses God gave us to keep out the “bad” impulses, that it could over time affect our health?

I think there’s a limit to how much insulation the Myelin sheaths in our nervous system can contend with. I absolutely believe that the amount of radio/TV/satellite/cellphone/Xray/etc. etc. etc. we’ve pumped into our atmosphere, is indeed causing a degradation of our ability to protect ourselves.

Why are anti-depression drugs the most widely prescribed pharmaceutical? Why is everyone so depressed? Why are there so many people in counseling telling people they hear voices all the time? Why is dementia more prevalent now than in decades passed? They tell us that cell phones are safe, yet they emit radiation, and too much of anything is a bad thing. We’re covered in the stuff, from head to toe, 24/7. Yet I’m supposed to believe that it has “Zero” affect? Sorry, I don’t buy a word of it.

When I was a little kid in the 60’s, I could not point to a single person that suffered dementia. Not my Great grandmother or her chums, not my Grandmothers, not my Grand fathers, uncles or their fathers. Sure they might have had mechanical issues like bad backs, or walked with a hunch or what have you. But none of them suffered dementia. It did exist, but not in the numbers we see today. I asked my mom ( who’s going to be 90 on New Years eve) if she knew of anyone with dementia when she was a kid. She could only think of one person.

Today, I can’t think of one person I know that does NOT know someone suffering at some degree from this disease. Something’s changed folks, and while we can look at vaccines, and poor soil quality, and mass food production and chemicals, I don’t think ANY discussion would be complete without adding in the addition of “billions” of radio transmissions we’re exposed to.
