“Enough is Enough” Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows Joins Nunes – Calls For DOJ Officials to be Held in Contempt of Congress

by Cristina Laila, The Gateway Pundit:

On Sunday morning Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) went on with FOX and Friends and dropped this bomb.

Rep. Nunes says he will move forward with a contempt resolution against DOJ AG Jeff Sessions for refusal to comply with latest House subpoena.

Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) joined Nunes on Sunday and said “it’s time to hold DOJ officials in contempt of Congress.”

Mark Meadows has had enough of the stonewalling from the Department of Justice.

Rosenstein refuses to hand over pertinent documents and now Sessions is refusing to comply with a subpoena.

Chairman Meadows says it’s time….

Mark Meadows tweeted: Last week Chairman @DevinNunes sent a subpoena to the DOJ with a deadline of Thursday. Once again, the DOJ ignored the request and will not comply.

Same story–more obstruction. Enough is enough. It’s time to hold DOJ officials in contempt of Congress.

The Department of Justice shot back at Nunes shortly after he put Sessions on notice Sunday morning in a defiant letter once again stating they will not hand over the documents requested.

The DOJ is using the same tired excuse that the documents requested put our national security at risk blah blah blah.

It’s all lies.
