Southern Poverty Law Center Correspondent Crumbles When Asked to Debate ‘No Go Zones’

by Virginia Hale, Breitbart:

A correspondent for the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has been mocked after attacking Breitbart London editor in chief Raheem Kassam as a “liar” for noting the existence of no-go zones in Europe, despite a recent admission from Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Challenged by Kassam on Twitter to a public debate after writing a bungled hit piece on Breitbart London, “correspondent” David Neiwert quickly tried to change the subject before claiming that he “do[esn’t] debate professional liars” because “life is too short”.

Neiwert’s life, however, doesn’t appear too short for him to spend hours writing about Kassam’s Breitbart London.

With his response branded “childish” and “a lame excuse” in replies on the social media website, where commenters suggested the far left writer was unable to back up his arguments, Neiwert then linked to another left-wing blog which calls no go zones in Sweden “a myth”.

Reacting to the description of Kassam as a man who “smears millions of innocent people”, Twitter users suggested Neiwert was projecting, in responses highlighting his book which blasts millions of supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump as “extremists”.

When Kassam hit back at Neiwert’s post which concerned his bestselling book No Go Zones: How Sharia Law Is Coming to a Neighborhood Near You, the SPLC contributor claimed never to have mentioned the work, quickly linking to another post on the Media Matters For America (MMFA) site, which denies the existence of violent, migrant-dominated areas where authorities fear to tread.
