During a press conference Wednesday night intended to update the public on the investigation into Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo toldreporters that he assumes Stephen Paddock, the man who killed 59 people and injured hundreds in Las Vegas on Sunday night, must have had help.
Well, unless “maybe he’s a super guy, a super hero….” the sheriff said before changing his wording.
Watch Sheriff Lombardo discuss the department’s findings below:
“Do you think this was all accomplished on his own?” Lombardo asks himself.
“You got to make the assumption he had to have some help at some point, and we want to ensure that’s the answer. Maybe he’s a super guy, super hero–not a hero, super–I won’t use the word.”
Lombardo said that while it’s possible he acted alone, ”it will be hard for me to believe that.”
Conversely, Paddock’s brother has told reporters that he believes his brother acted alone because “Steve had no help. Steve didn’t take help.”
