In between tweets about the approaching Hurricane Irma, President Donald Trump on Friday issued three tweets aimed at Republicans.
Some members of Trump’s party were upset that the president accepted a three-month extension of the debt limit offered by Democrats rather than the 18-month extension urged by Republicans.
“Republicans, sorry, but I’ve been hearing about Repeal & Replace for 7 years, didn’t happen! Even worse, the Senate Filibuster Rule will never allow the Republicans to pass even great legislation. 8 Dems control – will rarely get 60 (vs. 51) votes. It is a Repub Death Wish! Republicans must start the Tax Reform/Tax Cut legislation ASAP. Don’t wait until the end of September. Needed now more than ever. Hurry!”

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), normally a Trump supporter, said she voted no on a hurricane relief bill because it included the three-month debt limit extension as well as a three-month continuing resolution, which is what the Democrats and Trump agreed to do.
