by SGT, SGT Report:
President Trump attempted to do something very kind for this Marine as he boarded the Marine One Presidential helicopter upon returning to the United States after the G20 summit in Hamburg Germany.

With history as prologue, we know it’s something President Obama never did when he had the chance.

Thanks for tuning in.

  1. “The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

no one is going to save us, but ourselves, believing in this fiction of government is just foolish.. We have legitimized our slavery.

  2. On another subject : I just read that the national post said critics were whining about Ivanka, sitting in for her father while he stepped away for a few minutes at the g20 meetings. Even though she didn’t speak, they were accusing her of being”unqualified and un-elected”
Hmmmm. Sounds just like the officials in Brussels.

  3. Don’t forget this one, Marines holding umbrellas so that Obozo, supreme leader, doesn’t get his suit wet. His excellency, the supreme leader should have known better. Per Marine Corps uniform regulations, the men are not allowed to carry or use umbrellas while in uniform. Big disgrace, and disrespect to people in uniform.

  4. President Trump displayed a simple sense of helpfulness, humility, kindness, responsibility and a sense of “getting it done if it’s right in front of your face” instead of waiting for the next guy to come along and do it.
I think it was “common courtesy & decency”, which is lacking in most common people these days.

Trump is no saint (neither am I, and neither are we), but I’m reminded of the bible story where Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.

A business owner I had gotten to know (he had a heavy machine and truck business, bought sold and serviced big trucks and other stuff, and he is worth a couple million bucks)… I bought a box truck from him, and one day I was out in the truck yard doing some work under the engine compartment.
The business owner was out there, he rolled up the sleeves of his work-shirt, and got under there with me, oil and dirt up to his elbows as we fixed what needed to be fixed. Great example of showing he did not consider himself so high & mighty, but no matter how much money or how high his position of owning the entire company, he was a normal guy and decent friend who enjoyed to give a helping hand, even when it meant getting elbow deep in the dirt.

    • Agreed @Craig
Like your friend, Trump displayed what many these days do not comprehend: respect and decency.
Neither of these are big with the ME generation these days but it’s more than time that we had both of these traits in a president. This is one of the reasons why they cannot relate to Trump in any meaningful way.
