“A Stock Market Crash is Coming!”

by Gary Christenson, goldstockbull:
Conventional “Wisdom:” Markets move up and down, but the stock market always comes back. The DOW is frothy and needs a correction, but the stock markets are healthy and big gains lie ahead.

Pessimistic version:  Jim Rogers said, the next crash will ‘the biggest in my lifetime.’[Coming soon …]

Question:  Given the craziness in politics, the Middle-East, Central Banking, and global debt levels …  do you own enough gold bullion?

Conventional thinking:

“Trump will save the markets, reduce taxes, and boost stock prices even higher.”  [Don’t plan on it.]

“Gold pays no interest and has gone down for six years.” [True but irrelevant.]

“The Yellen Fed can’t let market bubbles pop so they will create more QE, more bond monetization, “printing,” and Fed support. In short, the ‘Yellen Put’ is alive and will protect investors.” [Maybe not…]

“The market got hurt in 1987, 2000, and 2008. It rallied back each time and went higher. This time will be no different. Stocks may correct but they are a good long term investment.”  Read “The Bull Case:  S&P is heading to 3,000.”  [How big a loss before the rally?]

In the long-term the S&P probably will hit 3,000 but the short-term risk is substantial. The attractive lie is appealing but not necessarily true. Sometimes reality is harsh.

  1. Human psychology plays a big role in people’s decision making process. We put too much loyalty into the same place we put our money. This is OK as long as we are willing to look at, and analyze the data that is available, to see what sectors are good, safe and sound, and what sectors are manipulated, falsified, and unsound.
A good old buddy of mine, is 100{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} into his mutual fund investments, he keeps telling me about his safe and secure dividends, and that every time the stock market goes down, it has always come back up, and he’s not worried about the Dow-Cow being at the highest level in history. It’s “due for a correction” of perhaps 10{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528}, and will shoot back up to higher levels in less than a year.

He’s impossible to educate because he’s made money, and that makes him right. (For now, that is correct, but he refuses to see the next crash until he’s dead broke.)
I’ve tried, and nothing gets thru. So I’ve also warned him, to never show up at my place when the SHTF, because he’ll get the same 12ga treatment that all the other zombies will receive. He was kinda shocked and put-off to hear that, but I told him, it’s serious business and he’s got to save himself, because it’s my job to save myself, and not to risk my life to help those who would not listen to the good advice and timely warnings.

Generally, people who’ve got big stock portfolios, 401k’s, IRA’s, mutual funds, and bonds, ignore all the bad information about those “investments” and they hang onto them like it’s the 2nd coming of Christ.
Those of us who see all the scams and frauds of the paper markets, got out of the banking fraudstreet, and got ourselves some PM’s, and we hang onto them like they’re the 2nd coming of Christ, and we avoid the banking fraudulent investments like they are the Great Satan.

When the Satan of paper-wealth-fraud comes back to claim all his followers, the PM holders will be raptured up higher to the moon, as the paper account holders will be weeping and nashing of teeth as they are cast down into the pit to watch all their paper assets burning as a lake of fire.

The preppers shall take comfort in their seed & garden bibles. Thy shovel and thy rake, they comfort me. I shall lay down in green pastures of weed-free gardens. My store houses shall be filled with corn, squash, tomatoes, carrots, onions and potatoes and I shall not go hungry.
The chickens of the field shall bless me with eggs and meat as they eat up every grasshopper, grub and beetle they can find.
My solar panels shall warm and cool me, and make my life comfortable. Amen.
